Who Is Eligible?

All East Lincoln students are eligible to audition for All Shook Up. Whether you have been on stage before or this is your first experience, we STRONGLY ENCOURAGE  you to join us for auditions.

HELP!  This Is My First Audition!

We know that your first audition can be a VERY intimidating thing. If you are auditioning for the first time and are NOT interested in a larger/speaking role, you may audition in a group of 3-5.  Your group will need to prepare a musical selection under 2 minutes.  You will also need to prepare the choreography audition.

Again, this is only open to students auditioning for the first time who do not want to be considered for larger/speaking roles.

I Am Interested In Larger Roles.
(Lead, Supporting, Featured, etc.)

Students interested in advanced auditions should prepare a vocal selection from musical theatre.   The prepared section should be two minutes or less and be performed from memory with an accompaniment track with no vocals.

Second, students should also prepare a monologue of their choice that is at least one minute long.

Finally, students will perform the choreography combination.

What If I Am Interested In The Technical Side Of Theatre?

There is a place for everyone in the theatre program!  Maybe you like to draw and paint or do hair and makeup.  Maybe you are into graphic design and digital artwork.  Maybe you're a technology buff or a social media master.  Maybe you just like to build things.  Whatever your interests, we have a place for you in the theatre!

Beginning Monday, January 13.   Rehearsals will take place Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM.  As we get closer to performances, there are added rehearsals and longer hours.  All rehearsal information is provided to cast and crew members before rehearsals begin.
