This Is My First Audition,
OR I Am Only Interested In Being
Part Of The Ensemble.
This year, we are trying something new for students who fit in this category. All you need to do is sign up for Ensemble Auditions and show up. During the audition, you will learn the audition song and audition dance. Once the music and dance are learned, we will perform them multiple times, beginning in large groups and moving to smaller groups. We hope this will encourage more students to audition while making your first audition experience more comfortable.
I Am Interested In Larger Roles.
(Lead, Supporting, Featured, etc.)
Students interested in advanced auditions should prepare a vocal selection from musical theatre. The prepared section should be two minutes or less and be performed from memory with an accompaniment track with no vocals. Pop selections are preferred for this particular show but are NOT required.

Second, students should also prepare a monologue of their choice that is at least one minute long.

Finally, students will perform the choreography combination.
What If I Am Interested In The Technical Side Of Theatre?
There is a place for everyone in the theatre program! Maybe you like to draw and paint or do hair and makeup. Maybe you are into graphic design and digital artwork. Maybe you're a technology buff or a social media master. Maybe you just like to build things. Whatever your interests, we have a place for you in the theatre!
What About Rehearsals And Course Credit?
Beginning Tuesday, September 3, rehearsals will take place Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM. As we get closer to performances, there are added rehearsals and longer hours. All rehearsal information is provided to cast and crew members before rehearsals begin.

Students selected to be part of the cast or crew will be enrolled in a 5th-period class called Theatre Production. As in all arts classes, levels one and two receive regular credit, and levels three and four receive honors credit.
Sounds Great!
