About The Teacher
Greg Franklin joined the Mustang faculty in August of 2018 and serves as the director for the Choral Music and Theatre Arts programs. Mr. Franklin joins us from Durham Public Schools where he served as Testing Coordinator for Riverside High School. Prior to his time in Durham, he taught music in Mitchell County Schools from 2003 - 2017, teaching all grade levels of music, both instrumental and choral, and musical theatre. Mr. Franklin has mentored many students that have gone on to study and work professionally in theatre, and his students excel in competitions at the regional, state, and national levels. In 2014, the Mitchell High Show Choir achieved a state championship title under his direction.

"I am very excited to be a part of the Mustang family and look forward to the continued growth of both the Choral Music and Theatre Arts programs. I hope to see many new faces this year as friends and family of East Lincoln make their way to the exciting performances scheduled for our students!"
