Parent Update: Mamma Mia!

Good Morning Everyone!

We are getting ever so closer to opening night and the excitement is building!  I hope you are as excited about the performances as I am!

There are a few things I wanted to go ahead and send your way. 

• Our first promotional event for Mamma Mia! will be coming up next Thursday evening, October 21 at 6:30 pm.  We will be having a "Dinner with Donna" event that includes a Greek inspired menu hosted by Safari Miles.  The meal will be accompanied by performances from the cast, games, giveaways, and maybe even a little Karaoke.  We are hopping this will be a great kickoff to our season!  Tickets are $20 and can be purchased from me or online at eastlincolnonstage.org/dinner.  There are 32 tickets remaining for this event as of 7 AM.
• Our community engagement event for Mamma Mia! will be on Saturday, October 30.  We will be hosting 2 Zumba sessions to all ABBA music.  ZUMBA MIA! will be held in the Black Box is a free event, but we will be accepting donations.  The first session will be at 9 am and the second at 10 am.  Some stage light, some great music, and some awesome teenagers sounds like a good time to me!  Watch for the registration form to be live later this week.  Guests can register at eastlincolnonstage.org/zumbamia.
• Tickets are now on sale for all performances.  You can purchase tickets directly from my office, or online at eastlincolnonstage.org/tickets.
• Remember that season passes are still on sale and will cover all 5 MainStage productions.  Those can also be purchased in my office or online at the address above.
• The Mamma Mia! show shirts should arrive on Thursday.   We are planning to have Mamma Mia Mondays now through the show to advertise the production.  If you would like to snag a shirt when they come in, let me know.  The shirts are $10 ( $11 for 2X).  You can send money for shirts with your child or pay online with Venmo (@ELonStage), Cash App ($ELonStage), or Credit Card.  **If you want to pay with credit cart, email me and I will send you instructions. ** 
• This is our last week on the Little Caesars pizza kits.  All student forms and money should be turned in by the end of the day Friday, October 15.  Orders can still be placed online through the weekend.  I will turn the web orders off on Monday morning, October 18.  Overall participation has been low, so I have asked the students to do one final push.  I really believe if we could have one good run at this fundraiser, people would ask when we were doing it again.  In my previous school, we had many folks who looked for these sales 2-3 times a year.  If you have pizza questions, let me know.  Online orders can be placed at eastlincolnonstage.org/pizza.  Customers can pay the students directly with cash or check.  They can also pay online with Venmo (@ELonStage), Cash App ($ELonStage), or Credit Card. 
• If you are willing to help us put up some flyers around the community, please let me know!
• Next week, we will be sending out a sign-up to help with meals during tech week and productions weeks.  There are about 40 in the cast and crew, so feel free to team up so that it is not too much for one person/family. These meals make a huge difference and I want to thank you in advance for helping make it happen.  It saves us a lot of rehearsal time and keeps me from having to worry about kids being safe leaving campus and coming back.
